Nature Alberta’s Family Nature Night: Nuts About Wildlife

On August 16, 2023, the ENCF participated in Nature Alberta’s Family Nature Night: Nuts About Wildlife at the John Janzen Nature Centre. It was a fun night for all ages! Participants had the opportunity to learn about squirrels from experts at MacEwan University, learn about wildlife from Alberta Fish & Wildlife Officers, and participate in guided nature walks. ENCF had a table at the event where participants learned about what we do, past events, and exciting future events and plans. There was much interest in ENCF hosting a native plant sale again in 2024, and people were also interested to learn more about our plans for a digital trail app in the future. Thanks to everyone who came out to the event and chatted with ENCF members!
